Pup Choice Dental Powder, developed as Dental Glow, is a daily food topper designed for fresh breath, plaque and tartar management, and gum support alongside brushing and veterinary care.
Built for the moment you already have
Your dog eats every day. A powder makes that existing moment a place for consistent oral-health support: measure according to the final label, sprinkle evenly and serve.
Pork liver adds a savory palatability ingredient to the formula. It is intended to make the supplemented meal appealing. The study supports short-term acceptance of food with the powder; it does not prove increased kibble intake.

Why choose our approach?
A mealtime format
Pork liver, brewer’s yeast and the powder format are designed around daily administration with food.
The formula, explained
See ingredient amounts from the veterinary-reviewed formula and where research is stronger or more limited.
A named formulation review
Joseph Menicucci, DVM, MBA assessed the formulation, proposed dosing and intended claims.
97.8% acceptance—here is the denominator
45 of 46 feeding observations were accepted in a 23-dog, two-day, owner-reported, single-bowl in-home trial. The combined rate includes immediate and delayed acceptance. This is useful taste evidence, not proof of dental efficacy, long-term adherence or superiority. Read the study summary.
Four support goals
- Fresh breath: the reviewed formula includes zinc and supporting ingredients.
- Daily plaque control: kelp is part of the ingredient rationale.
- Tartar-buildup management: kelp and sodium hexametaphosphate contribute to the formulation approach.
- Gum support: a supporting role in an overall oral-care plan, not a claim to treat gum disease.
These intended support claims are backed by the veterinary formulation assessment. The finished powder has not been shown in a controlled dental-outcome trial here. We do not promise that one benefit will appear first or that every dog will experience all four.
Is it the best dental powder for your dog?
It may be a strong match when convenience, pork-liver palatability, formula transparency and an identifiable veterinary review matter to you. “Best” should mean a good fit for your dog and your routine. We do not have evidence to claim that it outperforms every alternative.
Before adding it to the bowl
Use the final product label and your veterinarian’s advice. Ask first for dogs with thyroid disease, thyroid medication, food sensitivities, pregnancy, lactation or other medical needs. The formula contains marine-derived ingredients and pork liver; it is not a vegan product or an allergy-elimination diet.
